Google Vault eDiscovery covers Gmail, Google Drive, Google Groups, Chat content, and does not cover apps like Contacts, Calendar, Sites.
Organizations can apply retention rule to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Groups, Chat, Sites, and Google Meet content in Google Vault.Retention rules cannot be applied to services like Calendar and Contacts.
